Business Opportunity for Shoe & Fashion Enthusiasts

There's no doubt that 2011 has been tough for many Americans but in my personal opinion, our economy will only get better and stronger if we develop small businesses, strengthen existing ones, and train entrepreneurs.

It all starts with one's decision to quit the 9-5 drill and the rat race but instead run her own race in business! It takes going out of one's comfort zone and knowing that there are risks to take but takes it anyways because it is only through risks and failures that we will eventually find success!

This post may not be for everyone. In fact, this is only for someone who loves shoes (like I do!) and looking to earn extra income this year 2012 and willing to invest a little bit into this business. Yes, it's a business. Not a get-rich-quick-scheme. No promises. No guarantees. The outcome will depend on the investment of time and energy you put into it – just like any other business out there.

So what is this business opportunity about? Direct selling of designer shoe brands in parties, also known as Shoe Party! Direct selling is not a new concept at all. You've probably heard about candle parties, jewelry parties, bag parties, Tupperware parties (probably the oldest one out there and may not even exist anymore!). If it is working for those type of products, why not in shoes? I don't know of any woman who is not so fond of shoes! Every woman has got to have more than 5 pairs of shoes in their shoe rack somehow, right?

Get this: Your target market are women. Products are designer shoes. You sell what you love. You do what you love. How not to win? This business opportunity is offered by Chocolate Sole Lounge, a company based in Bloomfiled, New Jersey. The program seems really simple and the compensation promising, depending on the level of opportunity you choose.

According to their website, there are three ways to get started:

1. Star Sole Stylist – Gives you 30% commission for cash or free shoes. Requires a $1,000 investment for the distributor kit.

2. Sole Stylist – Gives you 22% commission for cash or free shoes. Requires only $299 investment as a start-up fee.

3. Shoe Party Hostess – For someone who just wants to get a feel of the business initially and earn at the same time by hosting a shoe party at her home.

The compensation also goes higher, if you choose to be Star Sole Stylist or Sole Stylist, as you recruit team members. I would say that the investment required is not bad at all. Keep in mind that for any start-ups, there's always a sum of money involved. I appreciate the fact that they have all these information presented on their website so that there are no surprises.

Happy New Year and make this a great 2012! Start a business…a shoe party business one perhaps!

Until then!…
