Rushcard Visa…Is it the better alternative to credit card and free checking?
Have you been affected by the poor economy? I think in one way or another we all have…it’s just in different levels. Some lost their jobs, got their homes foreclosed, others filed bankcruptcy, lost their cars to repossession, and so on and so forth. When your finances became uncontrollable and you’re drowning in credit card debts, and unable to make payments, you know that this has affected your credit report. Unfortunately, credit report plays a significant role in mostly anything and everything that has something to do with our finances. And if it has been tarnished for whatever reason, it will never be a breeze again to apply for credit cards or any loans. There are also banking institutions that check credit report when opening a checking account as opposed to checking ChexSystems. If your bad credit report becomes or is a stumbling block for you to get a checking account, try RushCard. I have heard and read great reviews about this RushCard.
What are the advantages of RushCard Prepaid Visa?
1. Well according to the RushCard website, RushCard is actually a prepaid Visa card. You can add/deposit money and only spend whatever is on there. This means that you will eliminate overdraft fees and you can actually control your spending thus preventing you from going deeper into debt.
2. It can also serve as banking account that allows you to pay your bills.
3. If you enroll to RushCard’s RushPath to Credit and make recurring deposits and payments, they will report your transactions to the participating consumer reporting agencies (LexisNexis® and PRBC®)
4. Discounts on prescriptions. According to their website, RushCard prescription card offers discounts of 10%-85% on brand & generic prescription drugs and it’s accepted by 56,000 pharmacies nationwide, including national chains, regional chains, and independent pharmacies.
5. Best of all, there is no credit check needed so it’s a 100% guaranteed approval! It three different designs I think and my favorite is the Baby Phat Rush Card! It just looks so feminine! If you’re looking to take control of your finances again, a credit card without credit check, a credit card for bad credit, RushCard is definitely worth checking out.
Until then!…

Lynne, Yes, these cards can be helpful to those who can not obtain credit any other way…..and it can help to rebuild or establish credit, HOWEVER, it is important to warn everyone that these types of cards come with high fees. It’s important to always read the fine print, but even MORE important when you are ordering something like this. The goal is to help you strengthen your financial situation…. not make it worse! Great idea, but can be very costly, as well, so just make sure you are “in the know”!!!
