Small Business Marketing That Sticks…
As a small business owner and fully involved in the creative production side, I often find myself quite challenged in the marketing area. I believe that thousands of small business owners can relate.
Often times we start with an idea, jump right into it, the business takes off somehow, but then there's a point we get stuck and need a lift.
A few months ago I picked up this book by John Jantsch called Duct Tape Marketing and I'm really glad I did. I tend to shy away from purchasing marketing books simply because I feel that they would be theoretical. Without a degree in marketing and advertising, I thought it will be hard for me to understand. But this was not the case with Duct Tape Marketing.
Aside from the fact that this book has a lot of great reviews from other blogs and Amazon.com, what made me feel comfortable in purchasing it was its subtitle "The World's Most Practical Small Business Marketing Guide." I thought, there's the magic word! Practical!
Small business owners need "practical" guidance in the area of marketing. Theory does help since knowledge is power but in my honest opinion, nothing beats experience! In this book, John Jantsch takes you step by step into developing your brand, developing your small business' message, finding the right profitable market, and effective methods to market to them.
Whether you have an existing business or planning to start one, Duct Tape Marketing is a must have! It's packed with useful and practical information for every business owner.
Until then!…

Barnes & Noble is now giving away the free apps for their Nook reader for any tech device imaginable with a free download.
That being said, I was able to locate the book in their download library, sample it – SEE that I LIKE it and then the cost is under $10.00 and the book is delivered immediately to your personal Nook library.
I thought I’d share that since I’m all about “now”…
Have a great week EntrepreneurChic! and keep the great advice coming!
